When I lived in Oslo my impression of the Norwegian people was that sustainability is not very high on the agenda. That Sweden has taken larger steps in the transition compared to our neighbour. That’s why I was very happy when I first spotted the Norwegian brand Envelope 1976. I love the minimalistic Scandinavia style of their clothes with a sense of high quality and thoughtful design. Their sustainability efforts are also impressing with use of post-consumer waste, traceability in supply chain, low chemical use and so on. Read more about their efforts here and get inspired by their sense of style.
