Emilie Pittman dreamed of expression her art through clothing. Therefor, she started to study at The Textiles: Craft and Apparel Design program at the College of the North Atlantic in St. John’s. She later enrolled in LaSalle College in Montreal and graduated in fashion design. She started Em&May where inclusion of all women and body sizes are at the core of her design.
