What would Stockholm hipster area Södermalm be without it’s local small-scaled owned shops? These are the words of the concept-store 6/5/4 related to the current crisis.

In what ways are your brand effected by the Coronavirus-crisis?

Due to the recommendations from the Swedish government to not encourage people to move out and around combined with company strategies that makes more people work from home, there ar less people on the streets, which effects us in sales. We are currently experience a loss in 50% the latest weeks. This is going to have a long term affect since stock is budget to be selling 100% so big sales ahead are going to affect the margins and the possibility to buy the next collection.

What are your highest priorities and strategies at the moment?

To stay healthy and cut costs but at the same time react to the new market and transform and be creative in communication and sales. I’m following the covernments financial support packages closely and are applying all we can to our company in help to survive.

What can one do that loves your brand and feel like they want to support?

First, and the hardest to ask for, is to keep on consuming if you still have a job and a salary of course. Either in store or if you don’t feel like going out we’re selling online too.

Second is to communicate to friends and family that it is important to support your local store you wanna have around after this mess, maybe post something in SoMe if you have one.
