How to style that oversized second hand blazer

One of the most common items you can find on second-hand is a blazer! They come in all forms and shapes with different details and colours. Some have been classified as men’s wear and some as women's, but the reality is it doesn’t really matter how you define yourself, any blazer you like to wear is yours to wear. You might not like the fit, because we are told what a blazer should look like, but if you start to go for sizers normally bigger than yours, you are suddenly approaching the oversized blazer. The benefit of oversized blazers is that they can be styled and worn in so many ways and for so many occasions. We have listed a few ways to style your blazer and hopefully next time you go to a second-hand shop the thought of “it’s too big” might have been exchanged for “wow, there are so many ways I can style this”.

The white shirt

It is a classic look, but you can try it out with any kind of white shirt and see how it differs.

T-shirt and jeans

A t-shirt or a top with a pair of jeans is the simple way to go. Dress it up with jewellery or look casual with sneakers, your choice!

Mini underneath

Mini shorts, a mini dress, a swimsuit or a small skirt. Let the blazer do the work and keep it simple underneath.

As a jacket

Let the blazer be the extra layer you wear on top of all your clothes this autumn. Maybe with a warm sweater or autumn jacket underneath.

Sporty

Why not wear your blazer as a jacket to the gym? Or while grocery shopping with your leisure wear? See it just as any other jacket you have at home.
