Holala Vintage Clothing
Carrer de Valldonzella, 2 and Carrer dels Tallers, 73
Holala is just a fun store to visit. There are two locations, quite close to each other. You can find anything from Levis jeans, a Hawaiian shirt or a suede cowboy west. The store itself is breathing vintage and you get inspired just by walking through the door.
Humana
Ronda de la Univ., 19, Ronda de la Univ., 23, C/ de Roger de Llúria, 9, Av. de Francesc Cambó, 23, Carrer del General Álvarez de Castro, 2, Av. de Francesc Cambó, 30-36, Ronda de Sant Antoni, 45
Humana is one of the OGs. The chain has several locations in Barcelona and is my number-one go-to for second-hand shopping. Especially if I want to shop for something specific for the current season, like a winter jacket. Living in a city like Barcelona, buying new specific clothes for each season is not worth it. Because the winter can be as sunny as the summer and the spring can be as rainy as the autumn. You kind of never know. Also, when I feel that some clothes in my own closet need some new love, I donate them to Humana. Circle of life (aka clothes..).
Mahalo vintage
Carrer de Trafalgar, 78, 08010 Barcelona and Carrer de Comtal, 13, 08002 Barcelona
As of now, you can find Mahalo vintage in two different locations. One right next to Placa Catalunya and one next to Arc de Triumf. Both locations have a cool interior and the way they showcase the clothes is 10/10. I sometimes feel that vintage stores are packed with a lot of great clothes and accessories but it’s hard to navigate through all of the aisles. But Mahalo has done a great job in both their selection of clothing available and the way they have organized the stores with different sections based on color, style, material, and brands.
La Principal retro & co
Carrer de Ferlandina, 37, 08001 Barcelona
I love La Principal because I love old school sweatshirts. Besides this, they have classic brands like The North Face, Colombia, Kappa, Reebok, and Converse. They highlight themselves as providing fashion from the 70s, 80s and 90s. Another big plus is that they are LBTQ+ friendly. Which is a big plus in Barcelona. There is a big LBTQ+ society and people value that clothing stores, hair salons, different kinds of clinics, gyms and training facilities, etc, are taking a stand for everyone's equal human rights.
Love Vintage
Carrer de Bertrellans, 5
Also located in the Gotic area is Love Vintage. Besides being a great store for your vintage shopping, they also have a great website if you prefer doing your shopping online. They focus on good quality products and handpick every piece.
Flamingos Vintage Kilo
Carrer de la Canuda, 24
Entering the Gotic area in central Barcelona, you’ll find a vintage store pretty much around every corner. It sure is a very touristy area with sometimes a lot of people.. but keep calm! And have patience, it will totally be worth it! One of the more popular ones is Flamingos Vintage Kilo. Here you do your shopping in kilos and the price per kilo is 49€. Besides the location, there are three more stores in the surrounding area of Gotic and El Raval.
Cotton Vintage
C/ d'Enric Granados
If you are looking for a vintage designer bag or designer clothes - this is your spot! I would say that the vintage shopping in Barcelona overall includes the same style - old school 70s, 80s and 90s fashion with the more classic brand. But Cotton Vintage is the oposite. With designer brands like Chanel, Louis Vitton and Balenciaga, they attract another kind of customer. I really like just passing by and doing some window shopping. But I highly recommend Cotton Vintage even if you just admire the pieces from a far
'Navigating through the vintage stores in Barcelona can be a bit tricky - since there are a lot of them. But I suggest you start on the street of Carrer de Tallers, in El Raval. This street has several different vintage stores of its own. From here you can then continue into the Gotic area where you'll find even more
