Raincoat Langerchen, bag Fjällräven and shirt Kowtow

When spring arrived I decided to invest in a good raincoat suitable for Swedish summers. If you’re lucky you might already have one in your closet or you’ll find one at Second Hand, but that wasn’t my case, and I had to invest some time to find a more sustainable option. Waterproof gear might be among the worst new clothes you can buy since they also contain water-repellent chemicals that are dangerous to wildlife and human health.

That’s why I was so happy to discover at Adisgladis this beautiful raincoat from LangerChen. The brand is promising sustainable material, fair working conditions, PFC Free water-repellency and CO2 optimised transport. They want to create high quality Eco outdoorwear that lasts long. I’m wearing it with a bag from Fjällräven made on their new more sustainable fabric Bergshell. A new fabric made of 31% recycled nylon (post-production) and a yarn process that halves the CO2 footprint (more about Fjällräven in an upcoming post).

So even if it rains, there’s no reason to feel blue for not having proper gear to wear.
