What is Atelier Runmarker and why did you start?

Atelier Runmarker started with me designing a robe when I was living in Berlin as a fashion school dropout.

I love to express myself throughout what I wear and I wanted to contribute with something more than just plain ”clothes” . There's so many personalities out there that find it hard to find something special and made just for them.

Then the brand has grown from there with our signature shirt/dress and now we are just about to launch 51 different dresses. All our creations are unisex and just made in one ex so you are for sure the only one with that piece in your wardrobe. So stay tuned to check out our news on our website and instagram.

What have been and are the major challenges?

Finding sustainable production that doesn’t cost a fortune.

What has been the largest gain so far?

To see my vision and dream come alive is so rewarding

A big kick as well is to see my pieces on stage worn by musicians.

What do you think needs to change in the fashion industry to make it more sustainable?

I think the fast fashion needs to slow down and that everyone invests in fewer pieces but with good quality.
