Sophie’s Christmas Wishlist
I love birthday’s and Christmas and I love to give and get gifts. Gifts are actually one of my love languages (have you ever heard of The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman?) For me, making a wishlist is not really about expecting to receive all of those gifts, is rather a vision board for myself. Items that I would love to have the upcoming years. I love to make these lists and look back several months and years later to see what truly came into my life and what was more or less an impulse at that moment. We can all dream and make wishes and brands can inspire us to search for similar items second hand. Don’t take your Christmas wishlist to seriously, enjoy the wanting which doesn’t always needs to transfer to owning.
Hvisk
Seriously, any bag from this vegan company would be highly respected and taken care for in my closet. I love the playfulness of the bags! The bags made of recycled polyester are among my favourites.
Jess Meany
Jess Meany was one of my first upcycled/remake love-affairs. For many years I have admire this designers creations and I can’t wait for any of the items to move in to my closet.
Humans Are Vain
Probably the most ethical and sustainable shoe on the market. A brand founded by a man who truly knows the shoe industry, high quality and timeless design. These shoes has been on my wishlist for a long time.
Norrfolks
For every year that goes I’m more and more drawn to wearing a few quality jewellery items that will last a life time (maybe it has to do with age?) Currently I’m searching for simple golden ones and Norrfolks provides the most high quality ethical jewellery made of lab grown diamonds and rings in recycled gold.
Cossac
For some, it’s been more or less two years now working from home and honestly, I belong to the ones who love the home office outfit. For me, I’m not changing it, rather upgrading it with some gorgeous items from Cossac.
Pachamama Bohemian
The best weekend of my life (the weekend I got married) I was wearing a special designed jacket from Pachamama Bohemian. This upcycled art has magic in it for sure and the next item on my list is the Canvas. Absolutely adorable and I can’t wait to decorate my wall with one of them.
Zazi vintage
Ethically made by community women’s empowerment project, it is harder to find anything more adorable than these magical dresses. It would be a dream come true to wear one, one day.
