A fashion week we don’t hear too much about in Europe although it’s one of the bigger ones in the world, but that’s about to change. We have looked at the brands participating and are so impressed. It’s definitely time to put Tokyo Fashion Week on the bigger map. Because as a matter of fact, Tokyo is considered the Asian style capital, known for its vibrant youth fashion culture and trending street style, influencing the global fashion world.
A little background info
Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo is a fashion festival held twice a year, in March and August in a special location in Tokyo, during which the trends for the next season are born from the latest collections that are unveiled at fashion shows and exhibitions. It’s hosted by the Japan Fashion Week Organization (JFW). The Rakuten Fashion Week Tokyo will start March 13th and be ongoing until the 18th of March.
