Or maybe you do know where to find what you’re looking for but you just don’t have the time to do the research? Maybe you just love second hand regardless of it’s environmental benefit and would love to have some selected pieces but you wish you were better at finding what you were looking for? Well fashion lovers, looking for pre-loved clothes, now there’s a personal shopper service for that! Kind Of will help you with your new look!
I had a quick chat with the co-founder Maria Lagerman about Kind Of.
Why did you start Kind Of?
We started Kind of because we want more people to feel the beauty of buying clothes second hand. To have a positive experience and at the same time feel that you are actually helping to reduce consumption of virgin materials and being kind to the environment at the same time! We also started the company because we love fashion, love the hunt at flea markets and second hand stores and love that we can renew our wardrobes in a sustainable Way!
How does Kind Of works?
Kind of is a digital personal shoppingservice of premium second hand garments!
We present a new look of inspiration every two weeks for customers to buy as a package. It consists of three garments and a surprise.
You pay with swish and fill out a form where you specify your dimensions and can leave some wishes on what you like or not.
When all orders have been received, we move out and hand pick clothes to our customers in their own sizes.
Why Looks?
We present looks because we want to inspire people to Think of the garments in different combinations from the start. Looks that you can combined with your already existing wardrobe. Making your chooses as longlasting as possible. We want to focus on the opportunities to activate more then one look, out of these three garments, and to releate to your clothes in a Way of thinking bigger then just one Type of use. People May Think it is difficult to combine garments and especially second hand, because it requires a lot of searching, and this is what we want to help our customers with.
We are using our instagram feed, hopeing to inspire and to, besides the clothes that can be bought, contribute to the inspiration and desire to look for the look in your own existing closet or in your local second hand store. There is great combinations of second hand out there and we want more people to be able to enjoy it!
